Payment Policy

Credit card details are taken to secure bookings only. No pre-payment is taken. Payment of the balance will be required from guests on check out.
A deposit may be required during peak times or main events to secure guests booking.

 

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation is required. Cancellations with less notice may incur a charge of one nights tariff. Non-arrival without cancellation will incur a charge of no less than one full nights tariff.

 

Child Policy

Families with children are more than welcome at 16 Northgate Motor Lodge. Chidren need to be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure the respect and privacy for other motel guests.

 

Other

16 Northgate Motor Lodge is situated to the north of the city. It is the first motel as you drive into New Plymouth, making it easy to locate when driving in from the north or from the airport. It is only a 10-15 minute drive to the airport. The coastal walkway is easily accessible from the back of the motel for those guests wishing to enjoy New Plymouth by foot.
For those visiting New Plymouth for sporting events, the motel is a few minutes walk from the hockey turf, a few minutes drive to the netball courts and a 5 minute drive to the TSB stadium. Pukekura Park and the Bowl of Brooklands are a 5 minute drive for those wanting to enjoy WOMAD and other international bands or performers.
